🏠Gang Hideouts
Gang Hideouts are one of the best features of CB-GangSystem V2. They offer a new way for players to interact with the overall system on a deeper level.
A gang may only control ONE Gang Hideout at a time. This prevents one gang from monopolizing the Gang Crafting system or any other Gang System mechanics.
Private Spaces
Gang Hideouts serve as the central hub for a gang's activities—providing a private, interactive space for planning, storage, and coordination. These structures are automatically generated by the Gang System during script initialization and are strategically placed within specific turf zones across the map.
Each hideout is uniquely linked to a turf area. In order to gain exclusive control over a Gang Hideout, a gang must successfully claim and maintain ownership of the turf surrounding it by designating it as their Home Turf. This means that hideout access and security are directly tied to turf warfare and territory control, making hideouts a valuable and contested resource within the ecosystem.
Password Protected
Every Gang Hideout is password-protected, adding an additional layer of security and exclusivity to the space. Passwords can easily be changed via the Settings page of the Gang Dashboard! When a player approaches the hideout entrance, they will be prompted to enter the correct password to gain access.
However, password access is not the only condition:
✅ If the player belongs to the gang that controls the turf, and enters the correct password, access is granted.
✅ If the turf is controlled by a different gang, a correct password is required to allow entry. Turf control does not override password access.
🌐 If the hideout zone is not controlled by any gang, the hideout becomes an open public space—any player can enter, regardless of gang affiliation. This encourages neutral or emerging gangs to utilize these hideouts temporarily before establishing territorial dominance.
Placeable Objects
Inside the hideout, players have the ability to customize the space using placeable objects. This allows each gang to create a functional and personalized environment tailored to their playstyle. Items that can be placed include:
🔒 Storage Containers – Securely store contraband, money, and gang supplies.
🔐 Safes – For high-value items and cash, accessible only by trusted members.
🧷 Gun Racks – Visually display and store weapons and ammunition for easy access.
🧰 Other Props – Depending on the configuration, props can be expanded to include workbenches, laptops, or interactive elements.
These objects serve both practical and aesthetic purposes, making your hideout feel like a real gang headquarters.
Configurable Props
Hideouts can include interactive props, like the iconic Red Button Prop, which can request the presence of all online Gang Members!
